United In A Cause And Then United In Death: the final resting place of the miners killed in the Estevan Coal Strike in the northwest corner of the Bienfait cemetery. Over the years, authorities had vandalized the tombstone, removing “R.C.M.P.” It was always repainted. Photograph taken August 22, 2003.
